New Zealand's ANSP Says Modernization Contributing to Cleaner Skies
Airways New Zealand, New Zealand's ANSP (air navigation services provider) says its improved procedures and modernization initiatives are helping airlines burn less fuel, and therefore reduce emissions, while flying in its airspace.

 

L-3 Extending Its Infrared Imaging System to 14-Volt Aircraft
L-3 Avionics Systems, a division of L-3 Communications, is configuring its IRIS infrared imaging system for use on 14-volt aircraft, making the technology, commonly known as enhanced vision, available for the experimental market.  Testing is underway and the first system should be available this fall.

Aviat to Offer Forward.Vision's EVS on Huskys
Aviat Aircraft intends to make Forward.Vision's EVS (enhanced vision system) available as optional equipment on new Huskys or as a retrofit item for existing Huskys, making them the first manufacturer to offer the system.
