Qantas Orders A380 Simulator form CAE

Qantas formally ordered a suite of A380 integrated training systems from CAE, including a full-flight simulator and CAE's Simfinity training device.

The A380 simulator going to Qantas will be based on CAE’s next-generation Sim XXI Windows-based technology, with a modular design, to simplify its assembly, test and integration, and to reduce an airline’s life-cycle costs.

The Qantas training systems – to be delivered in the summer of 2006 – is CAE’s first A380 simulator sale to an airline.  07-14-2004.
