WestJet to Use Sabre's Resource Management Software

Canada's low-fare carrier, WestJet, has decided to implement a Sabre software suite to help manage its staffing needs at all of its airport stations, including Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto.  

WestJet will employ Sabre's Resource Management system that includes Sabre’s StaffPlan to provide staff forecasting and planning models, along with the ability to do "what-if" analysis on staff changes.  The suite also includes Roster Maker, which helps create longer-term scheduling patterns, StaffAdmin to help ensure adequate service coverage, and StaffManager that helps plan daily staffing needs in real-time. 

 WestJet is already a customer of Sabre's FlightTrac operations control and flight following system.  02-05-2004.
