NetJets to Use
Jeppesen's International Trip Planning
NetJets will use Jeppesen's international trip
planning service for the next four years, expanding
a support agreement already in place since January
2000.
Jeppesen's
international trip planning handles such things
as ground servicing, landing and overflight permits,
fuel arrangements, for its customers, as well as
flight plans, weather and NOTAMs (notices to
airmen), plus worldwide navigation chart services.
Jeppesen already has personnel stationed at NetJets'
Columbus, Ohio, flight operations' center that have
been handling trip planning for nearly all of the
fractional-jet operator's international flights.
Under the new agreement, Jeppesen will expand its
support team to include NetJets International's
operation located near Hilton Head, South Carolina,
to service NetJets' Gulfstream fleet located there.
In addition, the two companies will integrate their
respective trip planning and scheduling systems to
create a seamless, automated data exchange process. 12-09-2004.
