Mooney Making In-Flight Weather Delivery Standard Avionics Option

Mooney is offering a standard avionics option for receiving real-time weather information, while inflight, on all of its new aircraft.

A WSI InFlight AV200 system will be offered in combination with a Garmin Apollo MX20 multifunctional display on new Mooneys, so its pilot can get WSI NOWrad radar mosaic weather imagery and other weather information via continuous satellite broadcasts through a WSI special purpose antenna and receiver.

A number of the Mooney Service Centers are already retrofitting existing Mooney aircraft with WSI InFlight systems. A list of WSI InFlight dealers is available by clicking here.  03-17-2004.
