Jet Airways Getting Sabre Flight Operations System

India's domestic airline, Jet Airways, will install Sabre Airline Solutions' AirOps Dispatch Manager, Movement Manager and Decision Manager, to modernize its flight operational control and support future growth.

AirOps is a set of decision-support applications to help airline operational controllers monitor flight movements and make more informed choices where required.  For example: Dispatch Manager enables flight operations departments of any size to do their own dispatching and flight planning with little outside assistance; Movement Manager helps airline managers monitor and schedule daily maintenance and flight operations; and Decision Manager gives airline planners an optimization-based algorithm to help recover from irregular operations.

In Jet Airways' case, these new operations tools will complement its existing Sabre product portfolio, including SabreSonic that facilitates its Internet booking and e-ticketing.  07-14-2004.
