Air One Will Use a "New
Generation" Suite of Tools from Sabre Airline Solutions
Sabre
Airline Solutions says Air One will use its new-generation
suite of information technology applications to power its
reservations, check-in and Web capabilities. The private
Italian airline will also get a bundled package of decision
support tools to help it manage planning and scheduling,
flight operations, revenue management and fares.
Air One’s
SabreSonic suite for passenger management includes four
core modules:
-
A
core selling function along with reservations management
(SabreSonic Res).
-
A
passenger check-in function for e-ticketing and other
paperless products (SabreSonic Check-In).
-
A
Web-based tool to manage passenger functions from one
central location (SabreSonic Command).
-
A
seat inventory management system to handle passenger
requests in real-time (SabreSonic Inventory).
Air One
also will implement an integrated set of Sabre Solutions’
tools to enable a more efficient flow of information
throughout its operating divisions. For
flight operations, these include systems for flight
scheduling and planning, flight dispatch, and flight
following. Specific revenue
management tools include Sabre’s AirMax
revenue manager, and its AirPrice
fares management system.
The full
implementation of the SabreSonic system for Air One should
be completed in the first half of 2005. 07-09-2004.
