Air Charter Team to Offer Flight Explorer Aircraft Tracking to Customers

Flight Explorer says Air Charter Team, a large U.S. air charter company, will use its Internet-based flight tracking application to give its clients the ability to track their leased aircraft in near real-time.

Air Charter Team leases aircraft ranging from light twins to B-747s to clientele that want privacy and security while traveling.  Its customers have included presidential campaigns, Fortune 500 companies, college and professional sports teams, entertainers, and governments.

Flight Explorer’s Fast Track will enable ground personnel of Air Charter Team customers to track their leased aircraft on Air Charter Team’s password-protected Website, based on flight number, origin and destination, or flight time.

Flight Explorer tracks aircraft anywhere in the world through a variety of methods including the ASD (aircraft situation display) system over the US (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, UK (for authorized customers), New Zealand, the Caribbean and parts of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; and any aircraft worldwide via Honeywell’s Global Data Center datalink, ACARS, or Iridium/GPS. Flight Explorer’s Professional Edition updates the aircraft positions every minute and refreshes the screen views every 10 seconds.  04-24-2004.
