Geneva-based Flybaboo took delivery of an Embraer 190 under a leasing agreement with M1 Travel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lebanon's M1 Group. 05-07-2008.

Air France took delivery of a B-777-300ER (extended range), the airline’s 25th 300ER, and its 50th B-777.  The other 25 are 777-200ERs. 05-07-2008.

Indonesian carrier P.T. Riau Airlines will lease two Avro RJ100s from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. The aircraft will be delivered to Riau in August.  05-07-2008.

Bombardier Flexjet, Bombardier Aerospace’s fractional business jet ownership program, is adding 24 Challenger 605s to its fleet this year. 05-07-2008.

Delta AirElite Business Jets added another Gulfstream G550 to its operating certificate. 05-06-2008.

Jakarta-based Lion Air took delivery of its 10th B-737-900ER (extended range). 05-07-2008.

Mesa Air Group took delivery of its sixth CRJ-900 that will be operated by Freedom Airlines, a Delta Connection carrier.  05-07-2008.

Tunisair of North Africa will acquire three A350-800s, three A330-200s and ten A320s.  05-07-2008.
 

Singapore Airlines took delivery of its fourth A380. 04-30-2008.

Enstrom Helicopter's newest international dealer, Aerolineas Ejecutivas (ALE) of Mexico, took delivery of three 480B turbine helicopters. One will be used as a demonstrator, and two went to ALE's the State of Guerrero, Enstrom first customer. 04-30-2008.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines ordered four B-777-300ERs and four B-787-8s. 04-30-2008.

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) ordered 17 unspecified models of B-737NGs. 04-30-2008.
 

The FAA has granted Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) a STC (supplemental type certificate) for its B-757-200SF PTF (passenger-to-freighter) conversion.  04-22-2008.

Bangkok Airways will lease two ATR 72-500s from Irish-based AIR Ltd (Aircraft International Renting), a subsidiary of TAT Group. AIR is purchasing the aircraft from ATR. The aircraft will be delivered to the Thailand airline late this year and in 2009.  04-22-2008.

The Government of Iraq ordered four more CRJ900 Next Gens and took options for ten more. The firm-ordered aircraft are conversions of the four options Iraq took this past March.  04-22-2008.

Copa Airlines took delivery of its twelfth Embraer 190, bringing its fleet total to 38.  04-22-2008.

Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air acquired six MD-80s from Finnnair Group's Finnair Aircraft Finance Oy.  The aircraft are currently flying with Sweden-based FlyNordic, which is owned by Norwegian Air Shuttle.  04-22-2008.

Aer Lingus ordered six A350-900s and confirmed its intention to buy six more A330-300s 04-22-2008.

China Cargo will lease six B-777-200LR freighters and will sell and leaseback six MD-11 Freighters under an agreement with GECAS. 04-22-2008.

Czech Airlines agreed to lease an A310 with crew from Air India for another year. 04-22-2008.

Philippine Airlines will acquire up to three Q300s and six Q400s.  04-22-2008.
 

Embraer will use Honeywell's latest generation HTF7000 turbofan to power its new MSJ and MLJ business aircraft.  04-10-2008.

ANA (All Nippon Airways) exercised options for two more B-767-300BCFs (Boeing converted freighters), bringing its total firm orders for the passenger-to-freighter conversion to seven. 04-10-2008.

Sichuan Airlines has selected Trent 700 engines to power three leased A330-200s from AerCap that will start arriving in 2010.  04-10-2008.

Ural Airlines has selected CFM56-5B/3 Tech Insertion engines to power seven new A320s it has on order.  Tech Insertion incorporates technologies to provide lower maintenance costs and better environmental performance. 04-10-2008.

Norwegian Air Shuttle ordered 42 Blended Winglet Systems for the B-737-800's it has on order for deliveries starting in June 2009. The airline will also lease several more 737-800s equipped with blended winglets.  04-10-2008.
 

Malaysia Airlines selected the CFM56-7B engine to power the up to 55 B-737-800s it has on order.  04-02-2008.

Inverness-based Highland Airways purchased a Jetstream 41 from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft.  04-02-2008.

AirAsia X ordered 10 additional A330-300s, bringing the total number of A330-300s it has ordered to 25. 04-02-2008.

ANA ordered 15 Pratt & Whitney GTF (geared turbo fan)-powered Mitsubishi Regional Jets (MRJs) and took 10 more options. The first delivery is planned for 2013.  04-02-2008.

Air Berlin has ordered 10 Q400 turboprops. 04-02-2008.

Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) took delivery of a B-767-200BDSF (Bedek special freighter configuration) from Israel Aerospace Industries Bedek Aviation Group, after conversion from passenger to freighter configuration. CAM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargo Holdings International, which is owned by ABX Holdings.  04-02-2008.

AWAS will purchase six A330-300s, the first of which will be delivered in 2009.  All six will be leased to Singapore Airlines. 04-02-2008.

Turkmenistan Airlines ordered two B-737-900ERs and one B-737-700.  04-02-2008.

The University of North Dakota (UND) flight school took delivery of a Citation Mustang.  04-02-2008.
