System Integration
When an installation involves
avionics integration, L2 engineers are prepared to
manage the complete task, including an inclusive analysis, a
comprehensive design, and necessary follow-on tests.
Typically the process entails the following:

Analysis.
To ensure a complete understanding of complex
system requirements. L2's installation teams are trained to
determine system-level and functional requirements, evaluate
technical options considering performance and cost, and
evaluate the long-term life-cycle of the solution.

Design.
L2
creates a thorough plan of the task when modifying aircraft
systems in order to ensure structural and electrical
integrity while minimizing unscheduled downtime and
maintenance costs.

Testing.
To
maintain flight certification, L2 performs several tests
including an aircraft system functional checkout in
accordance with MIL-E-6051.

Remote Installations
L2
maintains its own mobile workshops that can be shipped anywhere
in the world. This allows L2 to work around your schedule and
operational requirements. |

Supplemental Type
Certificates
Many of L2's
installations are unique, but because of its experience in
installing prototype systems, L2 is well prepared to deal with
STC (supplemental type certificate) requirements to ensure that
the new system goes into the aircraft correctly, the first time.
In addition, L2's staff of
specialists monitors all deviations and changes, provides
complete design support to the certification authority, and
handles any additional approvals that may be required.
