V Australia Selects Rockwell Collins Avionics for B-777s Virgin Blue's recently launched international long-haul airline, V Australia, has selected a suite of Rockwell Collins avionics for its B-777-300ER fleet. The airline chose Rockwell Collins' MultiScan hazard detection system, TTR-921 TCAS II receiver/transmitter, ADF-900 automatic direction finder, DME-900 distance measuring equipment, HFS-900D high frequency system, CPL-920D coupling unit, GLU-925 multi mode receiver, LRA-900 low-range radio altimeter, TPR-901 transponder, VHF-2100 very high frequency transceiver, VOR-900 VHF omnidirectional range/marker beacon receiver, and SAT-2100B satellite communication system. 01-22-2008. |
