Two More Operators Select SkyTrac Satcom and Flight Following

Indonesia Air Transport (IAT) and Africa-based Everett Aviation are equipping their fleets with SkyTrac's satcom (satellite communications) and flight following technology.

IAT operates a fleet of 21 rotary and fixed-wing aircraft from manufacturers such as Eurocopter, Bell, Falcon, Gulfstream and Beechcraft that are used in oil and mining operations.

Everett Aviation operates a twin-engine Eurocopter BK117-C, an AS350-B2, and an Enstrom 280C, in what are described as "demanding and dangerous conditions" in an region of "political volatility."

SkyTrac customers enter into a communications contract with SkyTrac Systems for a subscription to the Iridium satellite network - either data only or data and voice, and can choose from multiple viewing options to meet their flight following requirements.  02-12-2008.
