Two Major Alaskan Airports Contract for PASSUR Applications
The Alaska International Airports System (AIAS), comprised of the international
airports at Anchorage and Fairbanks, has purchased subscriptions to three PASSUR
applications to improve their operations.
The applications include PASSUR's Pulse for Airports for landing fee accounting,
along with its Web-based inSight and Portal tools to support live operations control.
Pulse creates reports of arrivals and departures, including
detailed owner/operator information, maximum certificated weights by tail
number, seat configurations and runway utilization, in the aggregate and by
individual flight. The application is part of the PASSUR Landing Fee Management
program, which includes optional online billing to replace airline self-reporting.
Portal provides a live snapshot of operational information on a "dashboard" which
combines multiple information sets derived from the PASSUR database, and along
with tools for coordination, communication and information sharing among its users.
InSight combines in-motion, graphical en-route flight tracking
with terminal-area tracking from the PASSUR network of radars to increase ETA
(estimated time of arrival) accuracy. 01-15-2008. |
