Thailand Selects Era for Nationwide ADS-B Network

Thailand's ANSP (air navigation service provider), Aerothai, has selected Era to provide a nationwide ADS-B (automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) network to provide comprehensive airborne surveillance coverage throughout Thailand and much of its surrounding territory.

The new Thai network will consist of Era's MSS (multilateration and ADS-B surveillance system) ground stations, which uses TDOA (time difference of arrival) to provide real-time location and identification of all transponder-equipped aircraft. The system also can decode ADS-B signals according to all applicable standards, such as RTCA DO-260A.  03-13-2008.
