Silver Lake Partners and Texas Pacific Group Acquire Sabre Holdings

Silver Lake Partners and Texas Pacific Group (TPG) will acquire Sabre Holdings in a transaction valued at approximately $5 billion.

Sabre Holdings is the parent of Sabre Airline Solutions, which is an important provider of airline operational control applications and decision support tools.

Silver Lake and TPG say they don't expect to make changes in Sabre Holdings current executive management team, and will keep the company's corporate headquarters in Southlake, Texas.  12-17-2006.
