Shanghai Airlines Selects Rockwell Collins' Avionics for B-737NGs

Shanghai Airlines has specified Rockwell Collins' avionics for the 13 new B-737NGs it will receive through 2010.

Included in the avionics package are Rockwell Collins' fully automatic WXR-2100 MultiScan hazard detection system and its GLU-920 integrated MMR (multi-mode receiver) that provides an aircraft's primary position, velocity and time reference, and enables precision landings, including those that are satellite-based in the future.  The system also is designed to offer commonality across fleet types.

Shanghai's 737NG avionics package will also include a complete array of Rockwell Collins sensors.  02-14-2007.
