Sarasota Bradenton to Use Flight Explorer ASD in Multiple Roles
Florida's Sarasota Bradenton (SQR) airport will use Flight Explorer's ASD (aircraft situation display) system in its operations
center, its public Web site, and on multiple graphical displays throughout its
passenger terminal facilities.
Sarasota will use Flight Explorer's
suite of airport products, including Professional and Snapshot.
Professional will be used in the airport's operations center to provide its
personnel complete situational awareness of existing air traffic and weather
conditions. The airport's public Web site will use Snapshot to provide pilots,
travelers and airport authorities a graphical picture of the current departure and arrival traffic and weather.
Flight Explorer says SRQ will be the first U.S. airport to provide travelers with a graphical display that
shows the current location of inbound and outbound airline flights and weather
radar images. 03-13-2008. |
