Santa Clara to Use Era's Flight Tracking and Noise Monitoring California's Santa Clara County will use Era Corporation's Web-based noise and operations management system and multilateration flight tracking at its Reid Hillview Airport. Era's AirScene.com NOMS (noise and operations monitoring) system will be integrated with Era's MSS at Reid Hillview, which is the largest airport of the three that the county operates. Era's system is scalable and can be expanded to the other two in the future if desired. Era says it's currently the only NOMS provider that integrates multilateration surveillance, which Era claims gives it higher update rates, lower operation costs, better coverage, and higher accuracy than traditional radar.
