SAS to Outsource Voice Services to SITA
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will use SITA to provide all of its international voice telecommunication
services for 800 users in 40 locations across 23 countries. The move is expected
to reduce SAS's voice service contracts from over 100 to a single one with SITA,
and save the airline $3.6 million (U.S.).
SITA describes its end-to-end voice
service as "technology-agnostic", and is meant to meet SAS's operational
requirements for functionality and performance while leaving the responsibility
for selecting and managing the technology to SITA. 04-14-2008. |
