Row 44 Selects AeroSat Antenna for Its Airborne Broadband System

Row 44 will use an AeroSat satellite antenna and additional RF (radio frequency) components for its new satellite-based broadband communications system.

AeroSat will provide the two-way Ku-band antennas and HPAs (high power amplifiers) used in Row 44's system, which also will use AeroSat's fuselage-mounted radome.

The system can be integrated with existing IFE (in-flight entertainment), and can be installed in two short sessions to minimize aircraft downtime. The antenna is operating on over 20 aircraft types and has been installed by most major installation facilities, according to AeroSat.  09-19-2007.
