Rockwell Collins to Acquire Athena Technologies Rockwell Collins says it intends to acquire Athena Technologies, Inc., a privately held company that has been best known for developing and providing flight control and navigation systems primarily for the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) market. Athena is now providing products to the general, commercial and business aircraft industries leveraging these field-proven systems. The company's compact GuideStar control and navigation products have over 250,000 flight hours operating in very harsh conditions. 03-11-2008. |
