RLM Software's New FlightView Dispatch Include Ground Aircraft Tracking

RLM Software's latest release of its dispatch application includes an enhanced tracking feature that quickly locates aircraft on the ground as well as inflight.

RLM's FlightView Dispatch Version 4.3 has a "track landed position" that allows dispatchers and other operational managers to have more accurate knowledge of an aircraft's status on an airport surface after leaving its parked position, or after landing but before actual arrival, when operating in U.S. and Canadian airspace.  At large, busy airports those times can be substantial, and can significantly affect operational scheduling.

Dispatch's newest version also has a new notepad feature that allows an operational manager to quickly create customized notes and tag them to specific aircraft or airports.  Other improvements include a new satellite map, the ability to see the actual route flown by an aircraft, a new filter manager that allows the user to customize traffic views for easier interpretation, and other enhancements to its user interface.

The company says current FlightView customers will receive free upgrades to FlightView 4.3.  01-03-2005.
