Oslo to Expand Surface Surveillance with HITT & Era Technologies The Oslo Airport will expand its surface surveillance with Era Corporation's multilateration and ADS-B (automatic dependent surveillance) sensors and vehicle tracking units, and controller display technology from HITT (Holland Institute of Traffic Technology). Era's MSS surveillance technology, and its Squid ADS-B vehicle transponders, will be added to Oslo's current surface tracking and aircraft routing system, including primary X-band radar and a taxiway guidance lighting system. HITT provides technology and support services used to display real-time traffic information to controllers along with alerts as required. 06-18-2007. |
