New Russian Air Taxi Operator to Use Sabre Operational Products
Russia's Air Management
Group (AMG) will use a suite of Sabre Airline Solutions products to help
manage its new Moscow-based air taxi services unit.
The AMG air taxi unit,
called DEXTER, operates light aircraft configured with four or six seats.
It intends to use Sabre's
Rocade Airline Operation's suite for its fleet and crew planning, as
well as its operations control.
Sabre says it designed
its Rocade products to be scalable so they can be used by small start-up
airlines as well as medium-sized carriers with up to 150 aircraft. They are
meant to support any type of flight operation, including business,
scheduled, low-cost, charter, cargo and any of these in combinations.
Rocade products are used
by some 70 airlines, most of which are based in Europe and Asia, according
to Sabre. 01-22-2006.
