Mexicana Airlines Chooses EDS for Flight Planning

Mexicana de Aviación (Mexicana Airlines) will use a Web-based flight planning service from EDS.

EDS says its Flight Planning Services will give Mexicana's dispatchers and those of its low cost airline, Click Mexicana, an easy-to-use graphical interface to calculate the most economically possible flight plans while automatically considering route restrictions and alternatives.  Its AFP (automatic flight planning) model also factors in additional operational requirements, such as hours, weather, and airport infrastructure, when doing flight plan calculations.  09-21-2007.
