MAXjet Airways to Use MedAire's Web-Based Medical Emergency Training
MAXjet Airways, a Washington Dulles-based, all-business-class transatlantic airline, is upgrading
its current medical emergency training curriculum, provided by MedAire, to
include Web-based interactive training modules.
The new
MedAire modules will include AED (automated external defibrillator) CPR
(cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) and dealing with blood-borne pathogens.
In addition to traditional classroom training, all MAXjet crewmembers will have access to MedAire's
eLearning curriculum, which gives flight attendants an easier way to stay
current on medical training, and reduces the classroom time needed to remain AED
and CPR certified. The idea is to make it easier for crewmembers that live and
work in many different time zones on two continents, to have access to this
information. 09-01-2007. |
