Lufthansa Systems has further extended the capabilities of its schedule and fleet management application by revamping the system's Gantt chart functionalities.

Lufthansa's NetLine/Sched Gantt chart, the system's graphical component for managing an airline's schedule and fleet resources, now has the ability to present aircraft-rotational connections as independent objects, which enables additional information such as minimum ground times to be displayed for an unlimited number of aircrafts, days and flights. In addition, a modernized 3D look-and-feel, plus color codes to reflect customer-specific requirements, have been added to improve the user interface.

Ryanair will be the first airline to implement the new system according to Lufthansa Systems. 01-08-2005.
