Jetblue Chooses Flightscape's Analytical Software for Its FOQA Program

JetBlue Airways will use Flightscape's flight data analytical software to augment its FOQA (flight operations quality assurance) program.

Flightscape's Insight Analysis, Animation and ProView software allows airline users to discover operational anomalies from FOQA data on a regular basis, as well as more easily study complex cases.  And since Flightscape tools can also readily import simulator data, JetBlue is considering the possibility of expanding the system to provide a simulator debrief capability.

These tools can intuitively show the complex sequences of events in flight incidents, and communicate it effectively, which is the essential goal of any FOQA program, Flightscape believes.  10-16-2005.
