Jet-Care and Honeywell Launch Fault Code Reporting Service
Jet-Care and Honeywell
have launched a fault code reporting service for the Honeywell TFE731 DEEC
(digital electronic engine control) which will be offered
as an addition to Jet-Care's existing engine performance trend monitoring
program.
Jet-Care's CEO David
Glass said a recent survey showed that operators were interested in a
service that read the entire DEEC (digital electronic engine control)
download - take off data, cruise data and fault codes - and that his company
has succeed in identifying all the fault codes registered within each of
these.
According to Mr. Glass,
customers enrolling their engines for this service will receive an emailed
report from Jet-Care for each individual download sent in that will detail
all the fault codes as they are extracted. Operators will be advised of any
critically important faults by a phone call from a Jet-Care program manager.
The new service will be
available after June 1, 2007;
Jet-Care's current customers can simply add this to their existing
package of services.
Honeywell Zing
In addition, to DEEC
fault code reports, operators of TFE731 engines, will also be able to take
advantage of
Honeywell's new Zing intelligent monitoring network that provides
business jet operators with Honeywell's remote engine diagnostics.
