Jeppesen Intends to Develop Public RNP Procedures Jeppesen says it will participate in a FAA pilot program that allows third-party vendors to develop RNP (required navigation performance) flight procedures in the U.S. Once it reaches a qualified status, the Boeing subsidiary says it will be able to complete all phases of designing, implementing and maintaining new public RNP procedures within the U.S. National Airspace System, including flight inspections and tests. Earlier this year, the FAA designated Naverus its first qualified consultant to help airlines and other operators gain approval for RNP operations. 08-24-2007. |
