JFK to Use SITA's Wireless Mobile Check-In Desks

SITA will provide wireless, mobile check-in workstations to expedite passenger handling, and improve passenger flows at New York Kennedy's Terminal 4.

JFK's workstations, using SITA's CUTE (common use terminal equipment), will allow passengers to check-in for any flight on any of the 50 airlines that use the facility.  And because they are wireless, they can be easily relocated within the terminal to accommodate passenger demand.  Thus, airlines can more efficiently direct and manage passenger flows, as well as handle specific flights or events that creates "peaks" of additional passengers.  02-11-2006.
