JAL to Use SolArc Application to Manage Jet Fuel
Japan Airlines (JAL) has selected software from SolArc to help manage jet fuel purchasing and usage for its 276 aircraft.
The airline will use SolArc's
RightAngle NGFAS
(next generation fuel administration system) to handle procurement, market price
hedging, inventories, and the automation of Japan's fuel tax requirements. RightAngle will consolidate JAL's fuel management
information systems into a single solution for fuel supply contracts, fuel
budget, inventory management, and automate its supplier invoice processing,
including complete fuel tax accruals.
JAL will also use SolArc RightAngle for market price risk analysis and reporting as well as
the adoption of IATA XML data standards for electronic invoicing. 11-08-2007. |
