Interjet Selects Teledyne Controls' Data Systems for FOQA Mexico-based Interjet will use Teledyne Controls' FDIMU (flight data interface management unit) and WQAR (wireless quick access recorder) to support its A320 FOQA (flight operations quality assurance) program. The FDIMU combines mandatory data acquisition and recording functions with programmable ACMS (aircraft condition monitoring system) processing capability that allows users to specify their desired parameters. Teledyne's GroundLink WQAR compresses, encrypts, and transmits the data via cellular technology and the Internet to the airlines' Teledyne's ground-based data center for processing and analysis. 03-10-2008. |
