Horizon Air Using Gryphyn Works Web-Based Maintenance for GSE

Gryphyn Works says Horizon Air is now using its Web-based GSE (ground-support equipment) maintenance application across its system, becoming the first airline to do so.

Horizon began working with Gryphyn in June 2006 to provide a comprehensive GSE maintenance program using the Utah company's GSE Maintenance software.

Andy Schneider, Horizon's senior vice president of customer services, said the airline wanted "a secure, paperless solution comprehensive enough to manage all of our daily GSE operations - equipment and parts management, cost analysis, document management, and accident investigation support."

Gryphyn says Horizon is now exploring the possibility of using its application services platform to implement similar programs in other departments.  03-10-2007.
