Hawaiian Airlines to Use Flight Explorer to Monitor Oceanic Flights
Flight Explorer says Hawaiian Airlines' operations personnel will use its highest level tracking system to monitor flights from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland, the South Pacific and Australia.
Flight Explorer's Professional Edition allows users to track aircraft anywhere in the world, with only a personal computer and Internet access, through a variety of methods, including the FAA's ASDI (aircraft situation display to industry) input of all U.S. IFR traffic, international radar feeds, and aircraft GPS-based position reporting via ACARS, Satcom, and Honeywell's GDC (global data center). 05-21-2005. |
