GOL Opts for Boeing's Maintenance Tool
Brazil-based GOL Airlines
has opted to use Boeing's Maintenance Performance Toolbox for its 54
B-737NGs and 14 "classic" 737s.
GOL will use the
Toolbox' Library, Systems and Structures modules. Systems includes
specific instructions for core maintenance and engineering tasks. Structures
offers moving, three-dimensional schematics of critical airplane parts to
aid troubleshooting and repair.
Toolbox is one component
of Boeing's portfolio of electronic aircraft maintenance aids that include
remote monitoring of an airplane's maintenance health, cockpit EFBs
(electronic flight bags) and an integrated method of managing materials
securely online. 04-20-2007. |
