GE Aviation Completes Acquisition of Smiths Aerospace GE Aviation says it has completed the acquisition of Smiths Aerospace for a purchase price of $4.8 billion. The acquisition, which was first announced in January, broadens GE's aviation offerings by adding Smiths flight management systems, electrical power management, mechanical actuation systems and airborne platform computing systems. 05-05-2007. |
