FlightSafety to Provide Online Training for Garmin Avionics

FlightSafety International will become a preferred online training provider for Garmin's panel-mounted avionics products.

The training company says it will launch its Garmin online program with a product for the G1000 integrated avionics system on a Cessna Citation Mustang, designed to familiarize new Mustang pilots with the G1000 before their aircraft training commences.  The program should be available early next year.

Future plans include online generic training for single-engine piston aircraft, FlightSafety says, and additional aircraft-specific training will be developed as market demands dictate.  12-26-2006.
