First Embraer 190 Full-Flight Simulator FAA Certified
The FAA has certified the world's first Embraer 190 full-flight simulator that will be installed at JetBlue University's support campus at Orlando. The CAE-built device was given an interim level C certification, which is expected to be upgraded to level D in 2006. CAE says the simulator previously achieved "ready for training" (RFT) status prior to the 190's recent certification by Brazilian's authorities.
