Eurofly Opts for Lufthansa Systems' Complete Aeronautical Portfolio

Italian charter airline Eurofly will use Lufthansa Systems' complete aeronautical portfolio, including its operations control system, its electronically generated navigation charts, and its FMS (flight management system) navigation database service.

Lufthansa Systems' Lido Operations Center (Lido OC) includes all the processes involved in flight planning and briefing.  Its Lido RouteManual generates navigation charts directly from a worldwide database and features a high degree of automation to reduce the amount of manual effort involved in keeping them updated.  The Lido FMS database, which is updated once a month, will be customized specifically for Eurofly's planned routes and aircraft types.  02-06-2006.
