Eurocontrol Accepts Industry Targets for SESAR Vision and Performance

Eurocontrol has formally accepted the vision, performance targets, and recommendations for short-term improvements, formulated by a consortium of 30 companies and organizations, for Europe's future airspace.

The targets were the main second deliverable from the industry group as part of the definition phase of Europe's SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) program, which when completed by March 2008, should detail how Europe's air traffic management will be modernized from now to 2020.  12-26-2006.
