Emirates Airline Selects Goodrich Laptop Docking Station EFB Emirates Airline has selected Goodrich Corporation's laptop docking station EFB (electronic flight bag) for all of its B-747, B-777, and A310, A330 and A340 aircraft. The system includes Goodrich's EFB display and laptop docking station hardware as well as EFB software. Goodrich will provide system design, development, complete integration and STC (supplemental type certification) for each aircraft type. Deliveries of retrofit systems will begin shortly after certifications are completed, which is expected later this year. In a related matter, Lufthansa is currently evaluating Goodrich's laptop docking EFB on its A340s. 06-20-2007. |
