ENSCO's Weather Visualization Tools Available to Flight Explorer Users

ENSCO says users of Flight Explorer's flight tracking and decision-support tools have access to its suite of weather visualization tools and real-time global aviation weather data as well.  This is the same weather forecasting decision support system, used by ENSCO meteorologists to support United Airlines and other major carriers.

"The service now available to Flight Explorer users is a natural follow to the aviation weather support that we provide United Airlines," said Bob Gillen, ENSCO's director of weather systems.  ENSCO offers a complete suite of operational weather products, including optional capabilities related to tropical and polar weather conditions, Mr. Gillen said.

Flight Explorer recently released its latest version of its Professional Edition that integrates ENSCO's weather tools to display multiple layers of weather, allowing users to view both current and forecasted conditions to help determine how they will affect their flight operations.  09-21-2007.
