EMTEQ Receives FAA and VSTC Approvals for Multiple Installations
EMTEQ has been awarded
three new STCs (supplement type certificates) from the FAA, and three
Chinese authority airworthiness approvals, called VSTCs, for communications
and navigation installations.
The FAA approvals are for
a DMP100/200 digital media cabin briefer installation on BAE Jetstream 41s, a
Blue Sky D-1000 Iridium satcom (satellite communications) installation
for B-757-200s and a
Garmin 165 GPS installation on Embraer EMB-120s. The Chinese authority
VSTCs were issued for EMTEQ's
Avtech SELCAL (selective calling) system installations on B-737 300
through 800 series, as well as for dual
Collins HFS-900 high frequency communication systems, and Matsushita
PRAM (pre-recorded announcing and music) systems on B-737-600s, 700s and
800s.
EMTEQ says it owns more than 100 STCs overall for communication,
navigation and interior LED lighting systems, and more than 50 EMTEQ STCs
have been approved by EASA, Chinese, Canadian and other non-U.S. certifying
authorities. 02-23-2007. |
