EMTEQ Introducing New Interior LED Lighting for Commercial Aircraft EMTEQ is introducing two new LED (light-emitting diode) interior lighting systems for air transports and regional jets. By using solid-state diodes instead of incandescent bulbs as their lighting sources, these new systems provide long-lasting light with virtually no maintenance and longer MTBF (mean time between failures). EMTEQ's ELR14 reading light has a MTBF of 10,000 hours and its ELW34 compact wash light has a MTBF rate of 40,000 hours. Both the ELW34 and ELR14 are available as stand-alone items or as part of an integrated installation kit. 07-03-2007. |
