EASA Approves Shadin's RVSM STC for Several Citation Models The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has approved Shadin Avionics' STC (supplemental type certificate) for the RVSM (reduced vertical separation minima) air data system it developed for Cessna Citation 500s, 550s, S550s, and 560s.Shadin says its ADC 6000 system not only offers a simple and economical solution to RVSM compliance, but enables new capabilities by supplying data to next generation equipment, like Chelton Flight System's Synthetic Vision EFIS (electronic flight instrument system). There are currently more than 100 aircraft flying with its ADC 6000 RVSM solution, according to Shadin. 01-29-2007. |
