E&S to Provide Visual Systems for Airbus A330/340 Simulators

CAE awarded Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. a subcontract to provide two visual systems, including options for its new laser projector, slated for installation on two Airbus A330/340 full-flight simulators in Toulouse.

E&S' EP-1000CT display and ESCP-2000 projector are certified to Level D by the FAA and JAA and sold worldwide for both fixed and rotary wing applications.  E&S considers the EP-1000CT's rapid airport scene update capability, its advanced adverse weather simulation, and its continuous worldwide geodetic 3D background environment features, to be industry-leading.  04-09-2005.
