Denver Deploys Megadata's Passur Airport CDM Software
Denver International Airport
has contracted for the Megadata's PASSUR OPSnet CDM (collaborative
decision-making) application for managing daily activities as well as dealing
with irregular events such as snow and ice, lightning, and construction.
OPSnet is a secure Web portal which
uses a PASSUR information database to share information and communicate with all
key airport players from any Internet-connected PC in real time to affect better
and more coordinated decision making. It includes, among other things, detailed
field condition report templates, airline slot self-management tools, weather,
and PASSUR automated flight status information.
Denver's system is one part of the PASSUR CDM suite, which also includes PASSUR
Portal, which provides a live snapshot of operational information on a "Web
dashboard," and tools for instant information sharing and communication among
all users. Denver also uses PASSUR
Pulse for proactive landing fee management, and PASSUR
inSight visual flight tracking and airspace status tools in its operations
office. 10-04-2007. |
