Conklin & de Decker Releases New Version of Its Aircraft Comparison Software
Conklin & de Decker has
released a new version of its aircraft performance software that can be used to
compare over 200 general aviation aircraft models from single-engine pistons to
Boeing and Airbus business jets.
The company describes its
Aircraft Performance Comparator, version 2.5.0, as the most comprehensive
and easy to use aircraft performance comparison tool available to the general
aviation industry.
The new edition includes a way
to easily overlay and compare aircraft interiors and exteriors and view
side-by-side or overlay options that are to scale and easily printed or
exported. The enhanced display and tool bar options in this new edition gives
the user additional viewing and reporting choices with easier navigation. All of
the performance data comes directly from the manufacturer's approved aircraft
flight and performance manuals.
Conklin & de Decker has added
the Citation XLS+, Grob SPn, Hawker 750, EADS Socata TBM 850, Eurocopter
AS355NP, and Cessna 172S, 182T, 206H, T182T, T206H models to the new version,
which bring the total aircraft in the database to 268. Performance updates have
also been added to the Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign, Gulfstream G150,
Piper Cheyenne series, Eurocopter EC225 and the Sikorsky S-92.
The software costs $695 for
the jets database, $595 for the turboprop or helicopter database and $450 for
