China Eastern Airlines Demonstrates RNP Approach into Linzhi China Eastern Airlines demonstrated a RNP (required navigation performance) approach into Tibet’s Linzhi airport, using a procedure designed by Boeing's Jeppesen subsidiary. The flight, which was accomplished with the cooperation of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) the FAA and Boeing, was flown in a B-737-700. The CAAC approved Air China's use of RNP procedures at Linzhi, using procedures developed by Naverus, last September. 06-01-2007. |
